Title: XHTML / CSS / PHP Developer
Department: Technical Services
Reports to: Technical Director
Overall Purpose:
Our team is looking for an experienced and innovative XHTML/CSS/PHP developer. "Experienced" means you know what you are doing and can show us proof of your work. As long as you can do this, it does not matter whether you have been in the workforce for two years or twenty. "Innovative" means that concepts like AJAX and SiFR are not foreign to you. We appreciate individuals who experiment with new technologies on personal projects.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Project responsibilities include:
- XHTML/CSS template creation
- Integration of multiple PHP applications
- Testing
- Writing and revising of collaborative and functional specs
- Application and database development
- Working with visual designers and other developers to design complex user interfaces and data interactions
Qualifications:
This position requires that you have expert understanding and experience with:
- (x)HTML
- CSS
- DHTML
- JavaScript
- PHP and MySQL (both ground-up development and working with opensource and third-party applications)
- Photoshop
- Large scale and transactional systems a plus
- Authoring/editing XML a plus
Extras:
You'll impress us even more if:
- you have Flash experience (especially Action Scripting)
- you possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- you have experience working at a consulting company
